The wedding venue and ceremony both take place at the Walker Residence at 1118 Ben Rd, Minden, Ontario, K0M 2K0

The ceremony is taking place on Saturday, August 30th, 2025 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

The wedding day will take place both indoors and outdoors, weather permitting.

The ceremony and reception are wheelchair accessible. With that said, the ceremony will take place outdoors (weather permitting) therefore the ground may be uneven.

The theme of our big day is formal garden party so think Bridgerton meets tea party. If you feel like dressing on theme, pastels, patterns and textures are encouraged! We want you to have fun with it! We will be by the water so the weather may be a tad chilly near the end of the night. We recommend bringing something to stay warm.

Weather permitting, the day will primarily be spent outdoors on grass so please wear appropriate footwear, no stilettos.

The bride and groom want everyone to enjoy the ceremony as much as they will however, they wouldn’t mind seeing the big day from your eyes. Photos are absolutely welcome as long as they are shared with the happy couple after the fact ;)

The wedding ceremony will begin at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. We recommend arriving shortly before the ceremony to mingle, have some drinks and grab your seats!

As with most traditional weddings, the bride and groom ask that you please not wear white, creams, ivories (or other similar bridal colours). With that said, white shoes, accessories or men’s shirts are, of course, more then welcome.

With the wedding taking place on private property, there is no true “end” to the night. With that said, shuttles will only be available to bring guests back to the resort until a certain time. Times will be available shortly. Those not requiring a shuttle are welcome to stay longer.

A self serve bar will be available during cocktail hour and until the supply runs dry. For the post-dinner party, we recommend bringing a bottle (or bottles, let’s be honest) of your favourite booze and dancing shoes!
